Founder Mark Turley featured on Ireland's Newstalk Breakfast Business show

Ireland’s Newstalk radio featured Mark Turley (founder, chairman and chief executive of ClonBio Group Limited), interviewed by Business Breakfast host Vincent Wall, during the early morning broadcast on Friday 5 July (click to listen).

Mark is a successful entrepreneur with a proven track record in the renewable, motor and property industries.

After establishing and successfully building one of Ireland’s leading car dealerships in Dublin, Mark built a substantial property portfolio.

In 2009 Mark diversified his interests by establishing a biorefinery in Hungary. Today, a ClonBio subsidiary, Pannonia Bio operates the largest single-source grain based biorefinery.  It is a European leader in renewable ethanol, DDGS and corn oil production, supplying about 10% of the EU ethanol market. Today, renewable ethanol directly displaces a large proportion of unsustainable fossil fuel used in internal combustion engines vehicles.

ClonBio, together with associated Turley family companies, invests in new biotechnologies in partnership with inventors and entrepreneurs. It supports laboratory proven concepts with the necessary engineering expertise required to bring them to commercial scale.
